Description
Donation Meter is a free basic, customizable fundraising meter that automatically records the total number of donations received after a donation has been made on a Payment Processor Industry website such as PayPal. No more need to manually show how many donations you received for your fundraiser on your website.
Moreover, Donation Meter also allows the user to switch between different currencies, so that anyone who wants donations to be in US Dollars (USD) or Great Britain Pounds (GBP) can do so. Currently, only US Dollars and Great Britain Pounds are supported, but other currencies are planned to be added in future updates.
FAQ
-
What Payment Processor Industry does Donation Meter Connect to?
-
Donation Meter can connect only to the common Payment Processor Industry, PayPal. Stripe and other services are not available in this plugin but will be in its premium version, Donation Meter Plus, which will be out soon on my website, jetorig.com.
-
How Easy is it to Connect Donation Meter to a Payment Processor Industry?
-
Very easy! Currently, there is no need to provide any api key to set up a connection with a Payment Processor Industry (PPI) on Donation Meter. Simply add your business email, a testing email (usually a sandbox account offered by the PPI), fundraising purpose, return url, and a cancel url, and BOOM! You’re all set!
-
How Customizable is Donation Meter?
-
Customizable as much as needed! Donation Meter provides a basic, decently-ranged, easy way for non-programmers to style the meter and its donation button from color to button color transitions to font size to shadow and more in the “style” tab without writing any code. In addition, it also provides CSS and JavaScript identifiers for the meter and its donation button so that code-based customization outside the “style” tab can be performed if desired.
