How Block Animations Work

  1. Activate ExtenderX and enable Gutenberg Block Extensions from the dashboard.
  2. Edit any page or post in the Block Editor.
  3. Select a block and open the right sidebar.
  4. Open the ExtenderX panel and choose entrance, floating, tilt, visibility, tooltip, or wrapper link settings.

Your animations appear on the frontend immediately after publishing.

  1. Download & Install: Upload the extenderx folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or search for ExtenderX in the WordPress Plugin Repository and click Install Now.

  2. Activate the Plugin: Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click Activate next to ExtenderX.

  3. Enable Block Animations: After activation, open the ExtenderX Dashboard and ensure Gutenberg Blocks is enabled.

  4. Animate Your First Block: Edit any page, select a block, open the ExtenderX panel in the block sidebar, and choose an Entrance Animation preset.

How do I add scroll animations to Gutenberg blocks?

Open any page or post in the Gutenberg editor, select any block, and look for the ExtenderX panel in the right sidebar. Click Entrance Animation, choose a preset (fade in, slide up, zoom, flip, etc.), set duration and delay, and publish. Blocks animate when they scroll into view.

What is the difference between entrance, floating, and tilt animations?

Entrance animations trigger once when a block scrolls into the viewport. Floating animations add continuous subtle motion. 3D tilt responds to cursor movement. Only one motion type runs per block at a time — pick the effect that fits your design.

Does ExtenderX work with Kadence Blocks, Spectra, and Stackable?

What is the 3D Tilt Effect and how do I use it?

Select any block in the editor, open the ExtenderX panel, and enable Tilt Effect. Adjust intensity and perspective. Blocks tilt in 3D as visitors move their cursor — powered by VanillaTilt.js.

How do I show or hide blocks on mobile, tablet, or desktop?

Select a block, open the ExtenderX panel, and use Visibility Control to toggle desktop, tablet, and mobile visibility independently.

Will ExtenderX slow down my website?

No. ExtenderX uses conditional asset loading — animation JavaScript and CSS load only when a block on the current page actually uses an ExtenderX effect. Unused features add zero overhead.

Do I need coding knowledge to use ExtenderX block animations?

Not at all. Select a block, open the ExtenderX panel, pick a preset, and publish. No CSS or JavaScript required.

Does ExtenderX work with third-party block libraries?

Absolutely. ExtenderX hooks into the block editor globally, so any registered Gutenberg block — core or third-party — receives animation controls automatically.

How do I enable dark mode on my WordPress website?

Navigate to ExtenderX > Site Enhancements > Appearance and toggle Dark Mode. Visitors get a floating toggle to switch themes. Dark mode uses the DarkReader engine and works with any theme.

How does content protection work in ExtenderX?

Enable Disable Right Click, Disable Copy Paste, Disable Inspect Element, and/or Disable Image Drag from Site Enhancements > Utility & Protection. Each layer can be toggled independently.
